BANANAS ANTI BANANAS Painting

I've been thinking about doing this painting for some time now. If, very briefly, the banana symbolizes "nonsense", I think you can already get an idea of ​​what this work means. The presence of the classic clenched fist gesture, present in countless movements of a revolutionary and/or dictatorial character - it depends on who analyses - celebrates the power of "banana", or the power of the absurd. The yellow color emanates from the banana, like the sun's rays. Red, in turn, represents the inevitable blood and insanity of this type of movement. The black color in the spots symbolizes order amid chaos, as well as the totalitarian attitude that permeates these movements in their nature. It also represents mourning and the absence of humanity, giving way to the most obscure Dangerous Monkeys. In order to make it even more evident - especially for those who don't know the series yet - that the Dangerous Monkey is not specific reference to any skin color, gender, etc., I painted the hand and arm blue "avatar".
