I am Allan Buch, a Danish artist, born in 1970 in Odense, Denmark. I live and works outside of Copenhagen, Denmark with my wife Sif and our little pug Viola. I do things my own way. All my colourful paintings are Acrylic paintings, painted on canvas as a portrait painting in abstract Bright colours. My paintings reflects my visual interpretations of my subjects, and the colourful paintings is my way of celebrating an iconic person or item and changing it into something else. I transform it into my own iconic style of new pop art paintings.
 As an artist i love the bright, spontaneous wild colours in this painting style and the process of painting big colorfull paintings too. I am inspired by music and popular culture in all my in my bright colorfull pop art style paintings, You can see it in my work. Rockstars, Hollywood movie stars and other iconic celebrities are my favorite subjects. You have to know the rules to break them. I concentrate on values and complementary colours in my color palette. I love the realistic portrait style in abstract vibrant colours with the drippings build in. This painting style and the process of painting spontaneous with my chosen colours is where i feel alive. I have two series of paintings "ICONS" and "FACES" I hope you will feel the joy I felt when painting the paintings, and Ihope the painting will kick your emotions. Golden Acrylic from Brooklyn NY, is my preferred brand of colour. paintings on canvas is my prefered medium, here I feel I can express my emotions. The paintings have been sold to New owners in America, Thailand, Luxembourg, Schwitzerland, Sweden and a lot in Denmark.
