About The Artwork

The inspiration for the painting came from a desire to perpetuate it famuos name of ship L'Entreprise. It was French frigate captured in May 1705, and recommissioned as HMS Enterprise (1705). HMS Enterprise (sometimes spelled Enterprize) was a 24-gun sixth-rate frigate of the Royal Navy. Originally a French frigate called L'Entreprise, she was captured by HMS Tryton in May 1705. After her capture by the British, the ship was re-christened HMS Enterprise and served in the Mediterranean Sea under the command of Captain J. Paul, until Captain W. Davenport took over command on 19 May 1707, and she saw action off Leghorn (Livorno).[citation needed] She was wrecked on 2 October 1707 in the Mediterranean. The picture shows the first moments of the attack of the British ship that sealed the fate of the French frigate.

The painting philosophy is based on three effects that a piece must achieve to become ART. It defines the first effect a WOW effect where the image should influence the space in such a way that the viewer is attracted, busy and pleased. The second effect is reflected in the details, focus, non-alignment of the background, colors, transitions, contrasts. All that changes color in ART. The third, and according to the artist is the most important effect is that only the rare paintings have the power to remain in the eye of the beholder, even when there is watching them, when he is not thinking about them, and after forgetting where he saw them and who painted them. For pure peace, at times, close your eyes, if one of these photos is there as it was the day when you saw her for the first time, it means there is successful.
