A message about this painting: Everyone, sooner or later, will let you down in life. It could be something small (it doesn't have to be a huge dramatic thing). It might be even be yourself. Yes, even you can let yourself down. This painting is a few different shades of pink because that's what I needed in my life at the time. I used to be a runner. Running was my therapy. Now I'm an adult and can afford a therapist. Sometimes painting fills that void for me as well. If you've ever felt let down, abandoned, or like nobody cares about you. It's ok. Be kind to yourself and just show up for yourself. Think about being the older sibling that takes care of your childhood self. Be the person that shows up for you - you deserve it.
