Be The One Painting

My name is Marina Leddy and I’m an artist living on the South Coast of England. I’ve always been fascinated with the connection colour has with our thoughts, mood and feelings. On how seeing a painting can evoke a reaction in our gut and our soul in a way that can be difficult to describe. I look to explore that in my work and what I set out to do is never what I end up with and I’m thankful for that constant surprise. At present, my chosen medium is acrylic on paper, sometimes with charcoal and pencils. My inspiration is other artists I admire and how they use colours and shapes to interpret their story. Mostly my work is driven by how I’m feeling that day, what I’m missing and how my painting can fill what that is.
