This series of works namely "Flower Wars" is inspired with interpersonal conflicts and heavy fights with closest people but it also contains a thought of human nature and why are we so prone to war...these are not flowers, there are various people, a metaphore for human relations, for human life (when you analyse the whole series of watercolours you may find a whole life circle inside of eternal battle of Eros and Tanatos... Also, the opposite of tender watercolor technique, flowers as such subtle and lovely part of a plant and the war, the fights, conflicts, all of the emotions depicted- that was the point for me. How to describe war in such a delicate maner.

*commisions are available* NOTE 1: Please have in mind that watercolors are very hard to represent throughout the photos, they always look different (mostly much better) in reality. NOTE 2: If you buy one of my works, please, before framing, assure that they have a lining process (I don't know the word for it in English-professionals who frame paintings know: they use press to straighten artwork on paper and glue it to a harder surface- cardboard etc, if I made good explanation- and then the watercolor gets its FINEST QUALITY and looks at its BEST, wrinkles and waves are gone!). My love for drawing and painting began in my early childhood, since when I was able to hold a crayon or a felt tip pen (which was my favorite medium)...I went to different private art classes during high school, but later decided to study philosophy in Belgrade University.. After several years I realised that I have to go back to my first love and in 2009 I applied in Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, a prestigious state faculty, which belongs to Belgrade University of Arts, and studied printmaking for BA degree and later MA studies in painting, which I finished and graduated MA degree in 2014. I never regretted coming back to painting and art studies even though it is not existentially an easy choice...at the very end of my master studies I felt that watercolor is so close to me and currently, I am still in watercolor phase (most of artwork here represented are watercolors - but it doesn't mean it will be like that forever)... that's how I feel and I am trying always to create from emotions, from sincere thoughts and feelings, not to follow any trends different from my instincts. That is my goal, to make my personal poetic in most authentic way I can. My favorite artists and art movements are Der Blaue Reitter- Franz Marc especially, die Brucke, symbolists, impressionists and post impressionists- Lautrec, Van Gogh, Modigliani, early 20th century- Gustav Klimt and the symbolists, and Der Blaue Reiter group, symbolists, Les nabis, and many many more...Serbian art is also very important to me - Milena Pavlović Barilli and Sava Šumanović are my favorites from 20th century... there are many more contemporary artists whose work is important to me and have huge influence on my creativity..
