Beach Ball Painting

All that I am comes through in my art. My journey in medicine, my career as an artist, my experiences as a mother, and my life as an immigrant all weave together in my creative practice. I draw deeply from memory, creating gestural abstract compositions that explore the psychological power of colour and its potential to communicate meaning. My work integrates imagery and text, often blending them in ways that twist and transform, sometimes losing them within multiple layers of mixed media. The process feels much like my previous work in medical imaging, where I would investigate and build images through constant inquiry. Through my paintings, I strive to uncover the emotional core of human nature and invite meaningful conversations about universal concerns.
