This work is an evolution of my continuous single line work - reworking shapes and lines to see a portrait that’s both soft and strong. I love that each viewer sees these people differently - they see themselves, a loved one, an action, an expression, a mood - even a certain decade or time of day captured. The style – an unconscious balance of control and freedom.
