ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an original handmade watercolor painting of Royal Bengal tiger from Ranthambore national tiger park, Rajasthan, in India, abode for Tigers. Being an artist I can see the beauty of nature in a different way, what inspired me to describe a Tiger, is its majestic body and beautiful stripes. I have been making paintings in watercolors for 20 years that's way I have a applied watercolors in translucent form to paint this " Beauty of Strip''. A fine Indian miniature painting of Tiger painted on Handmade paper. This Big cat art is made in accordance with traditional procedures of Indian miniature paintings. I have used self- prepared watercolours which are made with plants and naturally occurred mineral pigments like Lapis lazuli for blue, Ruby for Red, Emerald for Green and Gauguli for Yellow. All these colors are applied on the painting with the help of self-made squirrel tail hair brushes. Very fine brush stroke and stippling work have been done on this Tiger painting. Perfect body anatomy, skin color and texture; and facial expression of tiger in this painting make it more realistic and vivid. The painting is created with multiple layers of shades of Brown, Black, Yellow, Orange, and gold.

He learnt Miniature Paintings from his Grand Father and Father Late Sh. Govind Sahai ji. Who was a renowned artist of Karauli State and his paintings are being displayed in Kaila Devi Temple, Karauli state and Albert Hall Museum, Jaipur Rajasthan . I have been making and promoting this art from last 25 years. our aim behind promoting this traditional art to revive hundreds of similar fellow artists like me and also to conserve this ancient art form in this modern era.
