Aynur Cimen is a local artist in London who specialist in still life, landscape, seascape and abstract acrylic paints. She was born in Ankara in Turkey. She moved to London in 2007 after working for some trade unions, foundations and companies based in Istanbul. Artist inspiration began at early age, growing up a large family inTurkey, she was surrounded by her musician, artist and singer brothers and sisters at home. In those rich cultural life was influence to define and inspire her work today. She started her painting at DAY-MER (Turk and Kurd Society Solidarity Centre). She exhibited in the associations and cultural festivals. Impressionist style, using acrylic paint in her paintings, more about nature, urban streets and social issues. She held her first group exhibition on March 8 2016 for World Women's Day. Then there were exhibitions at local festivals in London. Currently living in Angel, the artist is inspired by the social life and vitality of the region. Social events, nature, urbanization its subjects.
