About The Artwork
Belgrade city urban landscape from 1999. I painted this during war time, as witness and resident, to express grim atmosphere and unique visual dimension of confusing lights, anti-air flashes, uncertan bright objects in dark sky and their erratic movements, omen of combat in space above, tension and aura of dread that exists in cityscape in event of night bombing raids and modern air warfare.

Born on November 25, 1957 in Knjaževac. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Belgrade in 1986, at the Department of Painting under the mentorship of Prof. Mirjana Mihać. He acquired his master’s degree in 1988 at the same Faculty. ULUS (Association of Fine Artists of Serbia) member from 1987.
