About The Artwork

A decorative and elgegant watercolor composition, focussing on primary colors and the combination of fluent shapes, inspired by flowers, by the sea, and detailed small line drawings, reflecting some microscopic structures of an inner vision of the human body. This subtle painting reflects on the openness of the mind and the fluent quality of water. Not always knowing, but going with the flow of life: "I came out of a flower. However, I decided almost immediately to become a bird, which as soon as it was born moved insecure steps. Instead, the colors were already adult, as was the determination to become that chick. Before making the step firm and deciding to fly, I saw the water and decided to continue the transformation into a fish, since not much changed. The crucial part was the decision, the choice of what to become and the prideless satisfaction of always succeeding. So I get out of the water, this time taking cheerful steps, almost skipping, and I start singing like the flower that thought to tell me at the beginning of the story." (Nispieau, italian contemporary author)

I am a German Artist living in Genoa, Italy and in Berlin. After living 20 years in Berlin as a professional Interdisciplinary Artist (Painting/ Video Art / Performance / Dance / Clarinet Music) I decided 2017 to pursue my Art also in Italy. My paintings are created while I am sitting on the rocks of the Riviera Coast, observing the waves of te Mediterranean Sea. Living directly at the Sea allows me to feel myself in a close contact with nature, being inspired by its transformative dynamics. Through my intuitive paintings, I want to transmit a sense of wonder and appreciation for the world we are living in, as well as to encourage the flow of emotions and the perception of being reconnected as a part of nature also as a human. My broad artistic experience in the fields of Dance and Music supports the organic process of my paintings: Composing a Painting for me is very similar to the process of improvising Music with my Clarinet, or feeling the subtle energies in my body while I am dancing, searching to feel the flow without controlling it.
