Collection "Chronicles of childhood" In our childhood all insignificant objects turned into treasures, any object thrown on the side of the road acquired meaning for us and found its use in our everyday life, whether it is a broken candlestick or a torn ball. It absolutely didn’t matter that it was just rubbish ... for us it was finds, artifacts, things with a story that children could see it from the wrong side and appreciate it improperly. The level of entertainment has reached a completely different level now, a different range of sensations, another universe of virtual joy, of course, this is undoubtedly cool, but what about the first small tragedies of a cosmic scope? How to meet the first disaster of deprivation and loss? How to prepare for the grief that inevitably befall the childish soul? Do you remember, when dead birds were found or hamsters were dying, we sublimated all of our immense grief into the art of funeral. Those most invaluable treasures from the side of the road went to the monument, the whole children’s essence turned to stone and became a crypt of deep sadness, we projected our first experience of deprivation into a colorful burial. I present a collection of four paintings "Chronicles of childhood": Deprivation, Loss, Bereveament, Oblivion.

I have never thought about my origin and about the ornateness of the genealogical tree. The first most bright childhood memory is my crazy grandfather, with burning eyes and a brush in his teeth, standing in front of some paper square on the legs and smearing something incomprehensible — magical to the child's mind. I owe to him to the skill and thirst to painting that I possess. Glade to the stories of my parents, I learned that these artistic exercises were not indulgence and idle entertainment - my grandfather was a well-known painter and had a number of solo exhibitions. His works are still kept in our house, each of which is inspired by the time and fashion of a certain period. I don’t remember at what point I was thirsty to capture, depict, transmit. Mom says that I was born with artistic imagination and a brush in my hands. All my childhood was spent in the world of fantasy and phantasmorous images. Reality meant little to me, all the most important things happened in my imagination. When my parents realized that I would not limit myself to painting on wallpaper and any paper media, they gave me an easel. Then I was 6 years old. When I was 16 years old, I was in the States for the first time. This trip was a turning point in my work: I was so imbued and absorbed the spirit of this country that it could not but reflect on my perception of the world. The spirit of freedom is a common thread in many of my works. I dedicated the series “4 aces” to the states and my crazy grandfather to the artist: his portrait was sealed in the “ace of diamonds”. Freedom, drive and passionate lust for life - that's what this series is about. Painting is not just a part of my life - this is my whole life. I depict the reality in which I want to be at this time. Having the ability to express yourself is the highest value of human existence. I am happy that I have the opportunity to depict and see the world through paints and strokes. It is a whole world, an infinite universe.
