In this painting I tried to scrape a scenery out of the white using as little structures as possible. I want it to be light and easy and rough at the same time. Like something beautiful you find on a stroll around the grounds. Like something beautiful you find and/or something especially you find beautiful.
I used a wood panel, because I wanted to have a surface that would not give in to some pressure of pointed tools. It peaks through at some areas.
I love the imperfect style of found surfaces, like old walls for instance, that leave space to the imagination.

I seek similarities as a response to the perceived world of opposed structures and the found vocabulary of forms and shapes. I react to the everyday. I reassemble piles of abstracts, heaps of lines, pots of phrases and codes, to get something beautiful or true, to get something beautiful and true. I bring together opposites, I create stills of possible films, I create scenes of possible stories, paused narrations, I pause narration. I connect comics and abstract painting, graphic notation and technical sketches, I play very seriously.
