Well, I hope you got the gist of it all at first glance! I would be glad if you made the connection from looking at the burly fellow and the conspicuous sticker which would be just as valid as the ubiquitous ‘Baby on Board’, perhaps with different connotations though. Maybe tantrums would be a common thought? Probably every driver has come across such a person with incident. Or, perhaps you know someone like that after all! Hang on a minute................. that wouldn’t happen be you looking in the mirror would it? Of course not, I am only joking. The painting itself is an oil on stretched canvas in my poster/pop style, spreading a little humour as I love satire which I have mentioned numerous times. The sides of the painting are 3.5cm thick and are painted in a light greyish blue colour that I like to mix myself. Therefore, no frame is required and the chunky mounted canvas gives it a complete look with a modern impression when hung. As for my signature, it is on the back together with the rest of the markings. The purpose of this is to not distract anything from the image. The date that I completed it on is also included, but I will leave that to you to find out where that is placed. By the way, this is one of those paintings that I had started way back and decided to complete as mentioned in my ‘Events’ intro on my page. I started painting this piece years back in fact and managed to finish at last....I hope to do more.

Jason is a painter and illustrator of various styles and different media for different ends. Principally a surrealistic and abstract artist, he has a fondness for satire and caricature, with a hint of humour fantasy and the whimsical. Nevertheless, there is a realistic and a sober aspect to some of his work too. His different genres of works are ongoing series which are added to from time to time, whether it is his Aviary, Abstract, Allegoric or any other style he employs. World events, social affairs and politics draw his attention, but he can be inspired by everything and anything seen, heard or felt. His expression can be direct or ambiguous. What is prevalent throughout his work is light, movement and flow, hardly any black is employed, leaning towards enlightenment.
