Art goes further into digital, and here is the result — NFT. It is a cryptocurrency that allows you to digitize the originals of paintings. The world does not stand still, painting does not stand still. Bitcoin in the context of this work is a symbol of audacity, an orientation towards the future.

Shimova (aka Alina Shimova, 1985) Shimova is a Russian-born and Miami-based contemporary female figurative painter who explores themes of identity, spirituality, and the interconnectedness between humanity and the natural world. Her work blends symbolism, hyperrealism, and anthropomorphism, portraying animals and feminine archetypes as cultural totems that invite reflection on the wisdom of nature. With a degree in Fine Art Restoration and advanced training under the esteemed Russian painter Mikhail Satarov, Shimova mastered classical techniques before transitioning to a bold, narrative-driven style inspired by her travels and exposure to global art. Her experiences—living in Casablanca, Cairo, Nice, and London—expanded her artistic vision, shaping her as a cultural nomad and infusing her work with cross-cultural elements, integrating sacred symbols, traditions, and modern motifs. Shimova’s style has evolved from vivid, light-filled canvases with a quintessential Pop Art touch to her current approach, as seen in her “Black and Gold” series, where she embraces a more serious, contemplative palette. Her recent “New Totems” series captures spiritual depth and contemporary aesthetics, presenting animals as modern archetypes that bridge tradition and modernity. Shimova’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at Art Basel Miami and the Qatar Art Festival, and is part of collections in the USA, Germany, Russia, and Dubai. A co-founder and former Vice President of the Union of Animalistic Artists in Russia, she is committed to supporting conservation efforts, dedicating a portion of her art sales to environmental causes.
