This painting is a part of an ongoing series called Black Leather. The name stems from the variant of black paint used throughout the collection of works. The various points of interest invite multiple look-throughs, from the variety of drips, and exciting textures. This particular white is similar in tone and white to most house-paint whites. The idea behind that decision was to have the painting appear as an extension to your house walls. From a frontal view, as well as from far, the black background looks like scattered pieces — a play on the white as extreme negative space.
