About The Artwork
This painting is a version of previous paintings done in the 5x5 foot size. Originally I started with 2 horses, but wanted to include the human figure, as the human being seems emotionally much stronger for story telling purposes. I decided to paint a black happy woman within a peaceful nature setting. It depicts the image of a black person having a happy life without all the racial repercussions in society.
