“The moment I give myself the permission to create, is the exact moment I start to express what I see in my mind. Every time I face the canvas, I am looking at myself. I am forgiving myself. This connection is inevitable. It's inner in me.” Nuria González Alcaide I am currently exploring the use of color and how it behaves when seeing its transformation on the canvas with a daily work of observation. The painting is made up of very expressive gestures, resulting in textured strokes that evoke the emotions that I have hidden for years. You should know: - The artwork comes with a hanger on the back. - There is the possibility to frame the work. We can discuss which one. It will add, at least, 150$ to the final price.

From Barcelona (Spain), currently living in Jakarta (Indonesia). Visual abstract artist, self-taught. My work is about the use of color and how it behaves on the canvas, with a daily observation and transformation. It's about the connexion I have with it and how the final artwork affects the observer. My works is open to subjective interpretation of every person that looks at it, as a result of their own experience and thoughts. My biggest concern is how today, humans hide their emotions to fit in this world. I welcome them to open up and be honest with themselves. My painting is made up of very expressive gestures, resulting in textured strokes that evoke the emotions that I hidden for years. I work with acrylic paint and mediums, only using the three primary colours + buff titanium, burnt siena and black. I have developed a formula where I create my color palette with these colours. I normally work on canvas (cotton and linen), but I am starting to use wood. I always stretch my canvas, because I have more freedom. The sizes of the canvas are medium-big, where the possibilities are endless.
