Black & white abstractions Painting

With my paintings I want to express moods and emotions. I paint from the heart and from all the impressions I get in my daily life. I paint mostly abstract. My paintings are mostly expressive, and I use my intuition. I especially like the toned-down colors and use them a lot. I work with acrylic colors for the simple reason that they dry faster - I'm an impatient disposition. I start out with 2-3 colors and works mostly wet on wet. For the past year I have used a lot of charcoal, chalk and graphite in my paintings, and I love the effect it has. Sometimes I draw on the canvas first - other times I paint first. I use all sorts of paraphernalia in my art; spatulas, brushes, sponges and water atomizer. I love the slightly rough look, and how the colors interact. Often I paint in series, but it also happens that I suddenly have an idea, unrelated to the series I am currently working on, and then of course it is just redeemed. (???) What painting means to me? EVERYTHING! I do not understand how I ever could live without. Working in my studio is wonderful! I leave this world and go into my own fantastic universe where I am happy and forget time and place. It is a sanctuary and a place I get energy. I do not have to be in my studio to paint - I can paint anywhere. Give me a brush, some paint and a canvas, and I automatically slip into my own world where nothing disturbs me. I love to paint, it is of immense importance to me. The process of creation is wonderful, it is my PASSION- and equally great is the joy when I feel that I touch others with my art. When I have sold a painting, and my clients write to me that they are so happy for it, I feel very privileged. I paint most of all, because I simply cannot resist! (let be?)
