About The Artwork
Rembrandt fluid colors and liquid gold leaf on wood. The year in which I painted “Blake’s Visions- No.6” belonged to times still recalling ( to me ) the charm of Romantic Artists, some of them being, like William Blake, both Poets and Painters. Attraction came, in detail, from the urge those Artists felt towards an idea of Harmony and Beauty. I think that still today, through evolution, and even changes in times, changes in shades and shapes, that urge may be kept, in its essence, meant as a wish, a research for a model seen as ever evolving and renewing.
