Blessings is an offshoot of my raku series and incorporates my love of raku pottery, my fascination of Japanese Kanji symbols, and my passion in woodworking. I use acrylic texture that resembles raku pottery, thin pieces of wood to form parts of Kanji characters, and deeply saturated color.
