In light, color, and material, she seeks to capture the traces of the passage, inner resonances, and buried memory. She often explores themes related to introspection, memory, and human emotion, with a penchant for abstraction. Virginie Munch's works are often compositions in which forms appear to dissolve into the surrounding space. Virginie Munch draws inspiration from urban influences such as graffiti, as well as shapes and patterns inherited from primitive art. She seeks contrasts to create intense and introspective atmospheres. Her color palette can oscillate between warm and cool tones, depending on the emotions she is feeling.
