ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I cherish the freedom of being an artist and thankful for the passion to persevere. The only limits are the ones that we put on ourselves. The original abstract painting is 30 x 48 x 1.5 inch. I used palette knives, brayers and brushes to apply the layers of acrylic paint to the canvas. The image wraps around the canvas edges so framing is optional. You can hang the painting either vertically or horizontally as it is wired both ways. Hooks / nails are included. The painting is custom packed at my studio. Kelly Hutchinson is a full-time professional artist, living in Alexandria, VA. Born and raised in Rochester, N.Y. she attended Buffalo State and graduated with a B.F.A. in Design. Kelly's art education started early in life by learning from her multi-talented artist mother. She has also been influenced by Georgia O'Keeffe, Wolf Kahn and Mark Rothko.
