Blue light is a unique and captivating form of illumination. The color blue has long been associated with vastness and distance, as evidenced by the term “navy blue.” Sailors, who spend their days surrounded by the boundless expanse of the sea or ocean, are constantly confronted with distant views dominated by the mesmerizing blue hues of the water. Similarly, when blue light illuminates the human figure, it imparts a sense of spaciousness, almost as if the body itself is transcending its physical form. It becomes a cosmos, a universe within itself. Within this cosmic space, the focal point is the essence of humanity, or in the case of this particular painting, the essence of womanhood. This essence is conveyed through subtle details, such as the woman’s gaze piercing through the blue, directly engaging the viewer. It beckons the viewer to delve inward, to explore either the woman herself or one’s own introspective journey. Allow yourself to be swept away by this alluring invitation, and embark on a voyage of self-discovery. In crafting this invitation, I am expressing a sincere desire for the painting to have a meaningful impact on its owner’s life. This hope is grounded in the undeniable truth that humans have an inherent need for visual imagery. Some individuals, namely artists, possess a deep urge to create these images, while others, like viewers, yearn to be in their presence. The woman depicted in this artwork, bathed in a captivating blue light, can serve as a delightful companion who conveys a positive message and inspires one to fully embrace the radiance that surrounds them and can create a decorative living room wall.

I am an artist from Poland. Living in Sweden. I am working with oil, acrylic, and mixed techniques on paper, drawing, and graphics. Oil on canvas dominates my work. Figurative compositions and landscape motives are two themes of the same importance to me. In both, I want to convey the feeling of space. Space is a symbol of everything which is beyond the reality of our senses. I would like that my paintings are full of meaning. I want my paintings to be ambiguous so that they do not convey something directly, that they intrigue the viewer and invite them to think and interpret individually my pictures. For some years I am the owner of my own graphics press, which is located in a graphic studio in my home in Sweden, where I live now. Summer is a period of hard work for me - works on paper are being created. I paint paintings in Warsaw. I have been living in this rhythm of artistic work for several years. Time goes by and my art is changing. The question of where it will lead me is always up to date. You are welcome to visit my website:
