This painting is part of the series "Ahrenshoop Dreaming" and was done at the Baltic Sea in the famous artist village of Ahrenshoop where I spent a lot of time at the sea watching the light changing in the evenings at sunset and at night. The sheer beauty of those "light shows" made me always happy and relaxed and calm and here is an abstraction of what I saw. Abstract peaceful contemporary watercolor on professional watercolor paper. 40x40 cm unframed, without mat, signed on the back. Certificate of Authenticity. W&N Watercolor, ink, silver pigments on professional watercolor paper. The silver pigments will sparkle when hit by light (see photos), just like nature does.
