Andrés Kal (1975) Is a Visual artist Graduated Bogota, Col. 2001 His paintings are depictions of a journey through the human being portrait's and contemporary visual elements melted as a metaphor of our present time. although he is focused on female portraiture hi is not chasing likeness or beauty rather on trying to catch the perfect instant were the sitter falls on a state that he call: "the perfect moment" where the subjects are floating on a kind of introspection state unaware of their surrounds due to their own thoughts where their reality is confronted with ours, as the uniquely evidence against forgetfulness. Andres kal es un artista visual (Bogotá-Col,1975) enfocado principalmente en la pintura, sus exploración gira entorno a la figura humana haciendo énfasis en el retrato femenino, donde en algunas ocasiones se mezclan elementos propios de la gráfica propios de la cultura actual tales como la tipografía, la geometría y los planos de color que interrumpen y atraviesan el espacio de la pintura mientras sus personajes gravitan inmutados en un aire de introspección como sumergidos en sus propios pensamientos donde se confronta con su realidad, la nuestra propia, como evidencia contra la inevitabilidad del olvido.
