ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The theme of birds, treated here abstractly, is, like the trees, important in my painting. It is nourished by the observation of the many species that I have the chance to attend. It is also symbolic, the bird suggesting time, freedom, the cycle, but also a form of fragility. This painting is also the support of a new technical experiment: the inclusion of ash in acrylic paint, which is fixed to the support and the paper while drying.
