ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I walked in the park in Versailles. I did not really want to go to the palace, there were a lot of people. and the park was scarce. It was a magical time of day. The shadows on the trees and on the road changed before our eyes. it was a voluptuous world. I dreamed for a long time then to paint this picture. These trees stood before my eyes. and now 5 years after this walk I painted this picture

However, I did not know what to do - run on the city streets or sitting in the studio, where you can draw whatever came into his head. But it occurred to an incredible number of things. I call back to Moscow friends, and my very close friend said: "Lada, that you are sitting, it is necessary to know Paris, listen to him, to his every rustle, and it will open in front of you. You will learn a new life. " And I went. Honestly, with the card. Once on the Boulevard Saint-Germain, I got lost, got up at some lights, because it was already dark and began to study the map. And still I could not figure out where I was. Then out of the darkness came a man, in his hand a musical instrument lay in the bag, he asked, first in French, then in English, why I'm here. And I said that I was lost and I am from Russia and I'm an artist. And for some reason we started to talk to him without any hesitation. We talked as if they were familiar life: you're an artist, he said, let me show you Paris. So we went. He said that he had to go for a short time in the case in the cafe, and then we'll go to places that I would never see if I will walk alone, and even more so with the card. And then we went into some kind of half-empty coffee shop, as it turned out, a jazz café, and probably my companion was a musician, and negotiated with the owner of the cafe concert. I stood and viewed the wall, how everything is arranged, and then went on, and he talked about some of the building, said he was a music teacher, composer, and now we drink coffee in one magical place. Match, and it says - hotel. I thought, and what is what we came to the hotel, but there is no place to retreat too.
