ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This artwork has a blue backgroung applied by layers and covered with markmaking. I used pastels, graphite, pencils and markers. The final layer is a transparent white applied in whashes. The result is aquatic and fluid, very peacefully. There is a lot of details inside it, like little beings full of live and sweetness. This painting may be sold alone or with the first part of the diptych "Blue Twins". The dyptich is framed, in natural clear wood. I love abstract visual art because, for me, it allows the viewer to apply freely their own experiences and feelings to the canvas, without any prior direction. I'm working intuitively across each composition, I never know the outcome of the piece. As an emerging artist in 2020, my artworks has already been collected across Belgium, France, Germany and in the USA. I like the idea of transmitting to people, through my works, a kind of pure energy. I think there is some positive vibrations in every painting I create.

Roxane Malu's artworks combine pleasurable childish mark-making, patterning, gestural application of colour and delicate shapes. She works with colorful palette and mixed media (pencils, inks, pastels, acrylic, oil, spraypaint...). She wants to allow the viewer to apply freely their own experiences and feelings to the canvas, without any prior direction. Working intuitively across each composition, she don't know the outcome of the piece. The painting evolves as a emotional and therapeutic process, driven by music, light and moment. Roxane lives and works in Walloon Brabant, Belgium. As an emerging professional artist in 2020, she shared her work through different exhibitions and her artworks has already been collected across Belgium, France, Germany and in the USA. She likes the idea of transmitting to people, through her works, a kind of pure energy.
