This piece was created in October 2022 right after Hurricane Ian (Sept 2022). This was a way for me to express myself during the heavy weight and destruction of the storm and the waiting that would extend for what seemed like an eternity. My studio was spared, and my paintings were protected. Ironically, I moved from my condo on the water which was devastated three weeks before the storm hit us. The studio was obliterated. I want the view of this piece to see the strength, boldness, and richness that is exuding from the experience of something so traumatic, and know that moving forward is paramount in any catastrophic event. This piece along with two other pieces was entered into the Englewood Art Center at the beginning of 2023. It is available for sale. It's signed, dated, and titled on the back of the canvas. This piece will arrive with a certificate of authenticity. It is also signed on the front as well. Although it is wired horizontally, this piece can be hung vertically. If you're interested in this or any of my art, please feel free to add it to the cart. All pieces are for sale unless otherwise indicated. Thanks for stopping by - come back to see what is new.

I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts, and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
