Biography Pierantonio Callegarini, designer ( visit: ) and artist from Treviso, was born in 1968 from his parents’ love, from father
Franco, art education professor, and mother Margherita, dress designer. In 1987 he graduated at the Arts High School of Treviso: his reference point was his professor Mario Martinelli.
Furthermore, in the same year, he was hired by Tiziano Zanatta at Tecnica, a well-known company in the Sportsystem area of Treviso.
His designer travel starts right there, taking specializations in the textile and footwear sector and attending the Ars Sutoria Institute courses, in Milan. In 1991 he established his own studio, “M. PIER C. Design” with his sister Maddalena, that is an architect, and his brother Marco, accountant. So that the Company name took its origin from the first letter of their name, “M”. In 1995 Pierantonio Callegarini started to be also known as “Pier Callegarini” in the creative world; he also became member of the IDEAS association (International Designer’s Exibition for Active Sport) and he started to exhibit at the most important sports fairs: Supershow Atlanta, Ispo Munich, Outdoor Friedrichshafen. In 1998 he married Barbara and they had three children: Leonardo in 2000 (inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci), in 2002 Margherita (in honor of her dear grandmother) and finally in 2009 Matilde (like Queen Saint Matilde Empress of Germany). The 2004 is the year of the establishment of PierCommunication, advertising and communication agency. In 2005 Pier Callegarini also became member of the Board of Grandesign Etic, Milan, to this day. In 2006 he inaugurated his first Art Exhibition and launched his web site , Arte Per Passione, officialy presenting his artworks in the wide world and market of the Art. From 2008 he’s also member of ADI, Association for the Industrial Design. In 2009 Pier Callegarini got a new inspiration while he saw in just a few seconds the night disappearing: “I’ve been illuminated in 2009 while travelling by plane overseas and I just saw in a few seconds the night becoming a new day, and so the beautiful stars vanishing; but the stars were there as well, hidden by the day light! That was my ILLUMINATION: the TRIPLED. Triple, like the three phases for creating the Artwork and the Three emotions that it raises whent it’s turned off, when it’s turned on in the dark or when it’s on and lighted up by the surrounding light. Trip, the travel as source of inspiration.. Led, my “canvas”..
