An essential part of my job is the expressiveness and power of color. Color is considered to have entity of its own playing an important role while executing the stroke, resulting in the fundaments of painting. Abstraction is the way color is featured in the paintings. Art is a way to humanize and contact with our own deepest inner selves.The qualities proper of paint itself such as color, texture and shape, enable the viewer to set a link of emotions and feelings ranging from aesthetic pleasure and contemplative desire, to trigger our aspirations and hidden fears. In my work I seek to raise sensibility by means of the use of color, color is the main element in my painting. I definitely consider that when a bridge of communication between the viewer and the work is set by something as mundane as a color or stain,our sensitivity is awakened from a lethargic state of mind yet exploited by the excesses of postmodernism.Art plays a fundamental objective , by freeing our perception and making us more human.
