Homage to one of my favourite photographers George Hoyningen-Heune. This piece was inspired by the book 'Bonjour Tristesse'. The simple, yet highly effective composition allows a sensitivity to be evoked through the two main characters in the piece. Signed and varnished

I'm a young artist and architecture student. 22 years old. My work comprises of mainly varied figurative pieces which aims to encapsulate a single moment of a lost or forgotten memory, conveying the various emotions triggered by the essence of what is being remembered. Subtle moments of nostalgia are the basic foundations to my work which then elevate in to a story often unknowingly formulating towards a yearning for the past in the present day. My work has been described simply as 'evocative story-telling with paint.' Part of my Architectural degree show work was featured in BLUEPRINT design magazine in September 2010, being selected as part of the ''top 25 best and most innovative student work'' of the design schools in the UK. Thank you for viewing my work.
