I called these paintings "Bonum et malum, lux et tenebrae" - "Good and evil, light and darkness." Just as evil arose in the midst of good, so there can be good in the midst of evil. Without evil there would be no good, just as without light there would be no darkness. Light also appeared in the darkness of space. If there wasn't something in these pairs, we wouldn't know what all these words mean, and they wouldn't exist then. Even in the Garden of Eden, Eve, who lived without evil, wanted to know what is Good and what is Evil. Now everyone knows this, and because of this, Good and Evil compete in us every day. In my paintings, evil is presented as very beautiful, but Lucifer, in whom evil first arose, was the most beautiful among God's creatures. These pictures depict the following flowers: Amaranth is a symbol of undying and strong love. Chamomile symbolizes purity and innocence, youth, love and peace. Strawberry - righteousness and the ability to have children. In contrast to them, there are also: Ruta is a symbol of grief and remorse. Grouse - love and curse, which can be considered as cursed love. And Erika, which means loneliness.
