He started with drawings on the walls of houses, drew fonts, but he soon got tired of this format, and then he was noticed by a Crimean artist who invited him to his studio. This artist attracted Nikolai's attention, and returned him the ability to communicate with people, he began to return to human interaction with others, subsequently expanding his social circle. This Crimean artist laid the beginning for the foundation for painting on canvas. After returning to Kyiv, Nikolai rented the workshop in which he continued to paint his works.
