About The Artwork
This is a painting of the Border Wall between the United States and Mexico. This was an exercise to find abstraction in representational subject matter. The painting was exhibited as part of the Los Angeles Art Association's Open Show 2020 at Gallery 825 juried by Shana Nys Dambrot. The measurements of 19 x 23 inches include a black wooden frame. The image size within the frame is 15 1/2 x 19 1/2 inches, 16 x 20 inches out of the frame.
