Boulder Field is part of a new series of monotypes on paper created recently. This process of printmaking has certain limitations in the applications of color. I used these limitations to highlight the form through the use of color and collage. I love the minimal aesthetic, the stark reality. This small work packs a visual punch. This piece will be featured in an upcoming book,"Wild Lands" produced by Jen Tough Gallery
