About The Artwork
The Brass Monkey is a local cafe right on Pass-A-Grille Beach (in St. Petersburg, Florida) with a curvy green roof. However, that evening the sky was bright pink and the clouds were blue, just like in the painting. I would normally shoot in the other direction, which is the beach and the Gulf of Mexico, but I had to capture that sky, and the cafe just happened to be there along with the palm tree. Painting includes hanging hardware and is ready to hang.
