Every painting is a puzzle, a bit of a struggle. You have to take risks. The bigger the risk, the higher the payoff. This is the first time I've used spray paint in years. I decided it was the only way to finish this painting... and there she appeared... Audrey Hepburn!! Thank you oh muse! This is an example of Pseudorealism- The creation of realistic images by accident. I paint mainly for my own enjoyment- I hesitate to call it "work" for it is fun- grueling at times, but it never ceases to amaze me how the many images in an abstract painting appear out of nowhere. This painting is designed to be wrapped on a 1" wood stretcher, it was painted flat on a wall and finished on the floor. Shipped in a tube with directions for stretching. Signed on reverse. Kotas 21 and may i suggest the caviar?
