ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Human civilization lost something special when we lost our proximity to horses. We lost part of ourselves, because our dignity, strength, and courage is inspired by and intertwined with the dignity, strength, and courage of the horse. I paint larger-than-life horse portraits to help reclaim part of that proximity. I hope viewers feel the inspiring presence of this animal through this painting. This original piece is framed in a contemporary black tray-frame, and is ready to hang.
