White-necked jacobins are a spectacular species of humming birds residing in the humid tropical lowlands of Mexico, Bolivia and south Brazil to name a few. Their attractive, uniquely patterned bright blue green plumage is very eye catching. It was fun to capture the play of light on the gorgeously colored feathers. This is an original watercolor painting on Arches 140 lb. cold press paper. It comes signed on the front bottom corner. Unframed painting size: 10 x 8 in.
