Brobdingnagian - Lilliputian as it's name suggests is a description of the paintings sense of scale and distance within the land. The emphasis of comparison is between the Brobdingnag conifer trees in the foreground and their tiny Lilliput equivalent in the distance. The viewer is situated in a land uninhabited by human interaction, this connects the viewer towards ideas of bare-life and sublimity. .

Sarah Savage, BA Fine Art student at Camberwell College of Arts, is a Northern Ireland born artist who paints landscapes that are introspections of her experience growing up in a divided country. Savage studied Foundation level at Belfast Met and has previously attained the Finalist position for the Young Artist of the Year Award in Northern Ireland. Savage has recently contributed work to the debut edition of NURTURE Magazine, a newly founded arts publication. Savage has also exhibited at Galleries in Belfast and is currently working to establishing a large studio base to accommodate the production of large scale paintings.
