"Broken Pieces" Painting

I was born in Romania and moved to the United States when I was 4, I have been drawn to and moved by art since a young age. I have always had a need to create. For me being in the creative state, when compositions are forming and inspiration begins to take shape, the past and the present, things seen and unseen all converge and move together toward infinite possibilities, that is what it means to be alive. Creating art I have come to see the value of art in my own life and the value of art in the world. Art is the salt of life, it is the consciousness of and the creation of the world around us. I believe that we create art as we create ourselves, drawing out the things that move us and change us. For me creating art is simply a wish to see the beauty and magic in the world, to be always conscious of and in awe of even the smallest gesture of creation and to be forever entangled in it...
