A potted plant exposed to the sun. Its position, its leaves, signify a desire to burn (consume life) towards the light source of the sun, instead of slowly burning away from the brightest point which is also the liveliest point of existence. Rigid/heavy cardboard, two millimeters thick, ready to be framed under glass or plexiglass. The painting can also be hung without a frame, just install one or two invisible adhesive hooks on the back.

I take a surface, I leave marks on it, colored shapes several times, I erase and redo everything. I like to leave every degree of intensity I felt in doing it in a picture. I mix wax crayons with tempera pencils and acrylics, leaving everything I am at the time of painting in the picture. I define myself as an expressionist who paints faces, bodies, landscapes, the spaces around anything.
