About The Artwork

This is an oil painting of my grandfather Buck LeGrand. He was a famous rodeo clown who traveled the country performing in the major arenas. He was raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma and died in Sedan, Ks where he had his ranch. I have it framed in a barn wood frame. I can create a custom portrait for you that would be cheaper. I am not willing to part with this unless it is worth it.

I love to create art, travel, bake, read books, watch movies, tend my flower garden, sports, my family and laughing. I graduated at the top of my class from Wichita State University with a BA in Studio Arts. I also received a certificate in Decorative and Ornamental Painting and Design. I went back to school after having kids and earned my Art Education Degree. I am currently teaching art to high schoolers. I love to create works in all media and in all styles so you will find a range of artwork here. I do commissions so if you do not find any peices on this site you would like to buy I could create a unique piece just for you. I also do faux finishes and murals if you are in my area.
