The art of visual artist and master student Danny Hermann functions as an expressive channel through which he articulates emotions, memories, observations and experiences in a way that eludes the conventions of verbal language. Danny Hermann studied fine arts at the renowned University of Arts in Dresden and subsequently completed a master class with Prof. Ralf Kerbach.
His paintings have already been shown in international exhibitions, including New York, Rome, Florence, Milan, Dresden, Chemnitz and in a solo exhibition in Meißen.
The artist's powerful ductus weaves a web of captivating connections and transforms figurative motifs into almost "cyborg-like" manifestations. In doing so, Danny Hermann explores the boundaries of the human and creates space for new interpretations of identity and individuality. By fusing different techniques such as oil paint, graphite pencil, acrylic and ink, as well as experimenting with colour palettes, colour planes texture arrangements and the combination of organic and mechanical shaping, visual artist Danny Hermann seeks a dynamic balance between cultivated precision and the liberating moment of spontaneity. His works are intended to inspire the viewer to find a personal resonance with the artwork and its message, and to establish a deeper connection to their own world, to nature and to the future.
In his current works, he explores the organic forms of landscape arrangements in interplay with anthropogenic structures.
As an environmentally conscious artist, Danny Hermann uses sustainable materials such as bamboo paper, water-soluble oil paints and glues in his works.
