ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Acrylic paint, ink and watercolour was used to create multiple layers which have been manipulated to create a used worn feel by sanding them back and then reapplying. My pieces are very intuitive, I go with how I am feeling creating textures and colour combinations that were working for me in that present moment and the pieces really reflect my vibe in that time space. This piece is painted on gallery wrapped canvas and comes with a certificate of authenticity. I can also get the piece framed.

Rosanna studied at the prestigious London College of Fashion, starting with a Foundation Degree in Film and T.V Makeup and then later went on to achieve her Batchelor of Arts in Fashion Illustration. Through practice she has discovered her obsession for colourful abstracts with a strong emotional element to her work. Whilst painting Rosanna uses the paint to decide in what direction to go, using natural occurrences in the process to decide the next stages. Often her pieces are finished with a metallic element to highlight distressed areas which have been manipulated and worn away using different techniques. The result is an impromptu journey with layers of emotional and intuitive feelings.
