ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This picture continues my work using a 64 square grid composition as a starting point to a painting. I have kept this one minimal, retaining the grid structure and just breaking it up with a few alternate angled shapes. I have also concentrated on colour and light and also creating a beautiful surface texture by applying thick paint with a palette knife. It is produced on a deep edged stretched canvas which comes ready to hang (no frame required) with the sides painted black. The painting is initialed and dated on the side and fully titled and dated on the back. A certificate of authenticity will be sent with the painting.
