CONTAINED (Sold FL) Painting

I had the opportunity to paint this specific painting to exhibit in a luxury boutique hotel for a seven month period, along with five other pieces of my work (see additional photos). This was both an honor and a challenge to ensure a lively yet calm piece that would represent warmth, feel welcoming, and would engage guests as they entered the hotel lobby. This piece was hung next to the registration desk. My hope that the viewer will see this as a conversation piece, have a sense of meriment and happiness during their day - a happy place to focus when necessary. I find this to be a soft place to rest my eyes each time I look at the piece. I hope the same for the viewer. I've chosen to use acrylic paints.
